Location Collective, a London-based agency that provides space for film production use, has secured an investment of £4.75m from the alternative lender BOOST&Co.
The investment is expected to create several jobs within Location Collective and will be used to help fund the development of the new OMA X Film Studios, London’s largest film studio.
Location Collective provides film locations and production space to the creative industries across the capital. Founded in 2007, Location Collective now owns two film studios (OMA Film Studios and OMA X Film Studios) and works with its property owner clients and film industry customers to facilitate all types of filming hire across the sites.
BOOST&Co has chosen to work with Location Collective due to the firm’s extensive experience in the TMT (technology, media and telecommunications). The lender was also excited by the nature of the funding request and identified Location Collective as an innovative and fast-growing business.
